At Spotify, we use technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and other automated tools, to assist our recruiting teams in parts of the hiring process, such as organizing, and evaluating candidate information.
These tools are designed to support our recruiters and hiring managers, helping them make consistent and efficient assessments. However, all decisions regarding interview selection, advancement, and hiring are made by human recruiters and hiring managers. AI tools do not make final or fully automated employment decisions at Spotify.
Although we do not use automated decision tools, we evaluate and monitor our AI-assisted recruiting tools to help ensure they operate in a fair, transparent, and non-discriminatory manner and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the regions where we hire.
