- You should have some knowledge of semantic HTML and CSS. Ideally you’d be familiar with React and its extensive ecosystem as well as developing tooling using Node.js and TypeScript
- You have experience with continuous delivery and automated testing
- You care deeply about usability, accessibility and performance
- You are experienced working further up the web stack with systems like web servers, reverse proxies, and various caching mechanisms (Nginx, Apache, Node.js, GraphQL, Redis, memcached, Varnish, etc.)
- You understand how web clients and web servers interact with one another, and how to optimize that communication based on various use cases
- You are comfortable working in an agile environment, and are comfortable challenging yourself and your team to improve their ways of working
- You are adaptable and inventive and you are able to develop effective solutions to problems
- You are a good communicator and an empathetic, attentive listener with the capability to anticipate the needs of partners
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and can communicate your ideas, especially to those not technologically proficient
- You are autonomous, taking full ownership of your work and driving your personal development
- You hold yourself and others accountable, taking responsibility for every last detail, every step of the way
