The TIL team (Tooling, Integrations, & Labs) in Spotify’s Advertising Business Unit is focused on developing and innovating on partner enabled advertising products and partnerships. This includes strategic partner integrations, and specialized tooling to enable Spotify’s advertisers to engage with our audience through creative advertising solutions.

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our fast-moving, innovative team of talented people. You will be working on challenging partner integrations and collaborating across product and partnership teams to build out and drive strategic solutions with our data, measurement, and ad platform partners. We want someone who is passionate about the Spotify platform and knows how to navigate in the constantly changing ad tech ecosystem.
What you'll do:
- Identify new partner prospects and manage ongoing relationships in the ad tech space, with an emphasis on data providers, measurement providers, SSPs/DSPs, and exchanges.
- Develop detailed technical understanding of Spotify’s advertising stack to determine the optimal partners and integration approach to reach our ideal user base efficiently.
- Work within monetization partnerships organization to assist on new deals in progress and consult on best methods of integration.
- Collaborate with product management to ensure partnership integrations are scoped properly, completed in a timely fashion, and architected in accordance with our agreement.
- Manage relationships with integrated data and marketing platforms and QA and troubleshoot the integrated platforms.
- Serve as the day-to-day technical contact for 3rd party partners.
Who you are:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in solutions engineering, technical account management, software development, or partnerships.
- Solid understanding of the online marketing space, specifically around data management platforms, 3rd party data companies, measurement solutions, and programmatic buying.
- Strong technical understanding of data infrastructure and ability to process and understand technical documentation.
- Great communicator who can digest complicated technical processes and effectively translate to any audience.
- Ability to work independently to initiate and manage relationships.
- Previous experience partnering and scoping integrations for RTB/exchanges, mobile mediation partners, 3rd party data providers, advertising networks, and/or publishers.
- Experience working in data management and/or programmatic buying consoles.
- Experienced in SQL, at least one scripting language (Python, bash, etc), and comfortable using a Unix/Linux command line.
