As a passionate and driven Robotic Process Automation Solution Architect, you will assist with the adoption and roll-out of business process automation using UiPath in Spotify. You will help free up Spotify business teams from working on mundane, repetitive tasks, allowing them to learn new technical skills and accelerating their contribution to Spotify’s growth and success by engaging in high-value activities & innovation. You will gain exposure to unique learning opportunities and you will architect and design RPA technical solutions while driving the adoption of new technologies and design patterns, as you lead the team of RPA/ML developers. You will join the Intelligent Automation Global Center of Excellence in New York - part of the Financial Engineering (FinE) mission - and work closely with partners to deliver business value, at speed, from intelligent automation. You will work in a team where diversity, teamwork and collaboration reign. You have extensive experience working with UiPath automation, have been involved at every stage of the RPA, ML, AI development lifecycle, understand different Intelligent Automation Operating Models, and are able to demonstrate prior roles leading a team of RPA developers. You are a ‘people person’ and will work diligently to foster a strong collaboration network throughout Spotify.

What You’ll Do
- Lead a team of RPA developers, including co-development, design advice, mentorship, and coaching
- Hands-on development work to build automation to satisfy partner business requirements
- Ability to convert business requirements into solution design - building end-to-end automation process solutions
- Develop & implement testing procedures and oversee the QA process for the development team
- Manage a repeatable delivery process that breaks projects into user stories and translate them into executable sprints
- Control project scope to ensure projects are delivered within budget and timeline
- Manage the project intake process and implement the project life cycle, including planning and scope definition, effort estimation, design, development, integration testing, user acceptance testing, production, and support transition
- Provide continuous advice and standard methodologies to RPA developers in relation to delivery & testing approach
- Design and develop strategies and recommendations for UiPath-enabled solutions including key aspects of architecture, migration, and security
- Meeting with developers/business SMEs to determine test parameters (SIT, QA, UAT)
- Work side by side with Business Analyst and/or SME’s to create process documentation related to robust RPA testing
- Set up a framework to monitor and measure the effectiveness of testing activities across the SDLC
- Help maintain quality and organization of platform code and data
- Work with multi-functional teams to tackle complex challenges
- UiPath Advanced Developer certification
- 5+ years experience in a professional senior technical role (e.g. technical lead, team lead or architect)
- Experience architecting enterprise-level applications involving multiple systems, sub-systems, and SaaS applications
- Strong knowledge of RPA design principles and modular programming techniques
- 3+ years of experience in RPA development - UiPath a distinct advantage
- 2+years of experience developing and implementing test strategies, test documents, identifying test faults, and reviewing QA reports
- Expert-level proficiency with at least two of the programming tools/languages (e.g., C++ or C#, Web, ASP.Net, VB, Python, PowerShell)
- Proficient programming with APIs
- Deep experience leading the configuration, development, testing, and deployment of automation solutions using Agile methodologies
- Advanced test lifecycle management (SIT, QA, UAT) expertise, with a heavy focus on industry-standard methodologies related to testing RPA processes prior to production deployment
- Results-oriented with the ability to produce products/solutions that deliver organizational benefit
- Design-thinking, Lean, and Six-Sigma experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience of industry-specific standard methodologies for advanced automation tools (RPA, OCR, AI/ML, Chatbots, Process Mining)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain the technical aspects to business people and relevant partners
- Strong business skills and experience in working with cross/functional teams (e.g Security, IAM, Finance, Internal Audit)
- Desire to be a lifelong learner, enjoy sharing your knowledge by coaching others, and a passion to enable others to continuously improve through mentorship
