We’re looking for an experienced producer to join Stolen, an investigative, serialized narrative podcast that focuses on violence against women and girls, and social justice issues in Indigenous communities. The producer will be involved with every step of the show including development, research, reporting and producing episodes. You possess a background in audio storytelling and investigative journalism, and experience in reporting on sensitive topics within marginalized communities. This is a highly collaborative project; you’ll be involved in pitching, story development, field producing, writing and editing. Other responsibilities include preparing the host for interviews, scripting stories in the style of the show, and cutting and assembling audio using ProTools editing software.
This is a role for a talented producer with a journalism background, who thrives under deadlines and excels in a collaborative work environment.
