We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Engineering Manager to join our Experience Mission departments! Our teams within the Experience Mission are responsible for all of Spotify’s consumer experiences across our mobile apps as well as platforms like desktop, web, TVs, smart-speakers, cars, wearables, and partner application integrations to make Spotify available wherever our users are.
Within Experience Mission, we have openings in The PlayX organization who owns a significant part of the core Spotify experience: making users feel like all the content in the world is in their pocket from encoding, through delivery and download, on to orchestrating the intentions of creators, curators, and listeners into millions of audio/video experiences every day.
As an engineering manager at Spotify your primary responsibility is to the people you support: ensuring that they are growing as engineers, doing valuable work and generally having a great time at Spotify. As a lead for strong engineers in our software development department, technical leadership and a proven background in software development is a must, so that you’re able to challenge and grow your team members. You will influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery and work with your team on strategy and execution, all with close collaboration with other leaders in the organization.
**We have distributed teams around all if locations in Europe.
Therefore you can be located in any of those. In case you need relocation we can also offer that.
