This Spotify Messaging product area is responsible for innovating and evolving how users worldwide discover and experience Spotify. They imagine and build a multi-channel messaging experience across the user lifecycle: activating, informing, and retaining users and bringing churned users back to Spotify. The scope includes transactional and non-transactional messages across email, push, in-app and SMS, and additional channels in the future and supports all Spotify message delivery and channel health. We host an essential emotional connection with Spotify users, helping them stay up to date with what’s new from their favorite creator, find their next playlist or podcast, or keep informed with new features and value in the Spotify experience.
Messaging application teams focus specifically on the user experience of messaging. We experiment with building user-facing products and features on top of our platform to help users through their Spotify journey.
